It is our honour to offer congratulations to the newly elected First Nation of Na-Cho Nyäk Dun Chief and Council. Today we celebrate the appointment of the First Nation’s first elected female Chief, Dawna Hope, the election of Deputy Chief, Roberta Hager, and the election of Council Members, Edward Brown, Helaina Moses, Geri-Lee Buyck, Paul Profeit, Youth Councillor, Carolene Lucas, and Elders Councilor Hilda Germaine. We look forward to working alongside the First Nation of Na-Cho Nyäk Dun’s new leadership during this term. We celebrate everyone who held the spirit of leadership to put their names forward in striving to make our community a better place and applaud the courage that it takes anyone to step up and share their vision for our collective futures.
